This plastic-free toothpaste from Georganics is made from natural coconut oil blended with steam-distilled essential oils all of which are certified organic avoiding any synthetic chemicals that may be detrimental to your health and the environment.

As with all-natural toothpastes that are free from flouride and all other nasty chemicals it might take some getting used to; they don't foam or taste like a 'normal' toothpaste but stick with it and your brushing routine will be changed forever.

Two flavours available:

  • Charcoal: This Mineral Toothpaste is blended with Activated Charcoal and flavoured with organic Peppermint Oil. Studies have shown Peppermint Oil to be extremely effective at killing anaerobic bacteria, left untreated this bacteria can cause gum disease. This is a great alternative to conventional whitening toothpastes: activated charcoal removes surface stains naturally, without being harsh and abrasive to your teeth.
  • Spearmint: This natural mineral-rich toothpaste is blended with organic Spearmint oil. The toothpaste's properties are very similar to that of Peppermint, although Spearmint has a much more delicate minty taste. Spearmint oil is a strong antiseptic, so this toothpaste will help eliminate germs and promotes healing in your gums. The Fluoride and SLS free formulation is an ideal replacement to your conventional toothpaste.

Completely plastic-free, these toothpastes come in a glass jar with aluminium lid -inside the lid is what looks like a plastic film but this is in fact made from wood pulp.

Compost the box, recycle the lid and keep the glass jar for growing cuttings on your windowsill.
